Unit 4 Whats wrong with you? 教学设计(Lesson 22



一、教材内容分析

本课时学生要学习的内容是小学英语(精通英语五年级下册第四单元第三课时,主要环节是just talk。本部分的情境是Kate的妈妈带她去看医生,医生询问个人信息,检查病情,确诊重感冒,并叮嘱服药后卧床休息,多喝水等事项。主要目标语言有Whats wrong with you? I have a fever and a headache. Can I go to school tomorrow? No. You should take some medicine/take a good rest/drink more water.教师尽量创设真实的语言情景,帮助学生感知、体验、模仿和学习,引导学生能够在生活情境中灵活运用这些功能语句进行交际,提示学生要关注自己及家人、朋友同学的身体健康,对于生病的亲友、同学,要叮嘱其及时就医,多休息,并表达祝其早日康复的愿望。 二、学生情况分析 通过前两课的学习,学生已经明确了本单元的话题情景,也具备了一定的英语言知识和听说读写技能。绝大数学生能够基本掌握描述身体感受,安慰病人的一些表达方法,在学习中也敢于表达,乐于合作。本节课重点是要创设情景,进一步帮助学生理解并学会在恰当的情境中对话交际。 三、教学目标 1、知识目标:

能够听、说、读、写以下句型:

Whats wrong with you ? I have a fever and a headache. Can I go to school tomorrow?

No, You should take some medicine/take a good rest/drink more water. 2.技能目标: 1能在恰当情境中询问个人信息,描述身体感受,并叮嘱就医后应注意事项,运用核心句型完成就医的简单交际

2)能够通过同位活动或小组活动培养自主和合作学习的意识和能力。 3.过程与方法:对话表演

4.情感态度与价值观:通过对话使学生理解、感知目标语言,并学会综合运用所学内容进行日常交流,能够询问对方身体状况,表达自己身体的感受,体会身体健康的重要性! 四、教学重难点 教学重点:

1. 能听懂、会说、认读本课对话,并能够按照角色进行简单的对话表演。 2. 能够听、说、读句型:Whats wrong with you? I have a fever and a headache. Can I go to school tomorrow? No. You should take some medicine/take a good rest/drink more water. 教学难点:

1. 能在适当的情境中运用本课的目标语言。

2. 能在语境中理解You should take some medicine and stay in bed/take a good rest. Can I go to school tomorrow? I hope you will get well soon.


的意思并学会表达安慰病人,祝愿其早日康复。 五、教学步骤

1. 热身/复习warming-up :look at the video and tell me

What is Tina going to do? Yes, she is going to see the doctor.the doctor will ask Whats wrong with you? Today,we will learn unit4 lesson 21. In the hospital, she sees many children there.T: Whats wrong with him/her

S: He/She has a headache. 设计意图:通过观看视频情境导入,引导学生进入本课的重点句型和单词的学习,帮助学生复习与本课时的对话相关的知识,以旧带新,为本课时的学习做铺垫。 2. presentation

(1)Let’s sing a song wrong with you?> and play a game(sing and pass the card).

T: Now, Im the doctor, whats wrong with you? S:I have a headache.

T:You should take some medicine……lets play a game to practice these sentences.

通过歌曲和游戏结合的方式进入本课引入本课的新词组和难点句子,并让学生游戏中进行操练,使其在在欢乐的氛围中学习知识,巩固知识。

(2) Make a main map( Whats wrong with you? The doctor advice and how to comfort the patient.)

这个思维导图的目的是让孩子充分发挥想象力与自主性,不但学会了本科的知识,而且还能了解更多的跟看病有关的知识,同时还可以

3、看图初步猜测对话内容。

1)教师出示本课时的情境图,引导学生初步猜测对话内容,并提出想知道的问题。

T: When you are ill, you should see a doctor. Last lesson Kate was ill. Where is she now? Who is with her?

Ss: She is in the hospital. Her mother is with her. They are seeing a doctor.

T: What are they doing now? Ss: They are seeing a doctor. T:What do you want to know? S: What’s wrong with Kate?

设计意图:通过让学生看图猜测对话内容,充分利用文本的情境资源,培养学生的观察和提出问题的能力。

在教师引导学生找问题和解决问题的过程中,操练新知识:Whats wrong with you? I have a fever and a headache.并操练朗读。

2Read by yourself and underline the advice of the doctor.,划出医生的医嘱。

学生在教师的引导下,读对话划答案,理解新知识:You should take some medicine/take a good rest/drink more water.并操练朗读。 (3)Work in groups. Underline the different sentences.


讨论划出难点句子。

Can I go to school tomorrow? I hope you will get well soon.通过学生分组讨论,教师点拨,在情境中理解这两句话的含义,并练习。

设计意图:让学生带着问题听录音和阅读,培养学生抓取关键信息的能力。两个难点问题由学生自学提出,老师引导学生在情境中理解并学习。教学中通过先听,再读,让学生循序渐进地理解,为后面的交际打下坚实的基础 (4)listen and repeat.

(5)Do the role play.(黑板上显示出思维导图)

设计意图:通过思维导图,让学生可以思路清晰的重现课文的对话,角色扮演让学生在真实的情景中练习会话内容,巩固所学知识。 3. practice

(1)教师给学生搭建语言支架,引导学生复述课文对话。

I should drink more _____. I should take a good _____. 设计意图:通过引导学生复述课文对话,可以帮助学生更好的巩固练习目标语言,为后面的拓展活动做准备。 4. 巩固拓展

教师创设“To see a doctor”的情境,学生两人或三人一组围绕话题创编对话。 Whats wrong with you? I have a fever and a headache. Can I go to school tomorrow? No. You should take some medicine/take a good rest/drink more water. 表演对话

学生两人或三人一组到台前表演对话,其他学生和老师参与评价。 设计意图:老师给学生提供较为真实的语言场景及语言支架,学生通过合作创编和表演对话,提升综合运用目标语言交际的能力。 5. 小结评价

让学生总结一下本节课都学习了那些知识,老师做一下总结。 6. Homework
