1.parking n. 停车
parking lot停车场
例句:Building highways and parking lots has used up much of our fand.
修公路和停车场占用了大量的土地。
parking meter 停车场计时器
例句:Excuse me, but do you happen to have some change for the parking meter?
对不起，你有零钱付停车费吗？

2.rare adj．罕见的，奇异的
rare book collection（图书馆的）珍本书的收藏
例句:Did you have to do anything special to use the rare book collection?
你使用珍藏书有没有什么特殊要求？

3.trouble n.1．烦恼，麻烦2．纠纷3．辛苦，费心 v.（使）烦恼，麻烦
have trouble do．做...有困难(同义习语have a hard time doing)
例句:I have trouble concentrating when my roommate plays lound music.
我的同屋把音乐放到很大声时我就无法集中注意力。

4.turn v. 关闭；关掉；关上
turn off 关上，关闭(电器开关）(stop the working of on electronic device by using a button or switch)
例句:I missed the bus again today because I turned the alarm clock off in my sleep.
今天我又没有赶上汽车，因为我睡觉的时候把闹钟给关了。
turn to 向…求助（建议，信息，安慰等）(ask for help, advice, information, comfort, etc)
例句:1.the doctor on duty doesn't want to take any chances. so she turns to a computer for help．
值班医生不想冒险，于是求助干计算机。
2.They may turn to food to calm themselves．
他们可能会求助于食物使自己平静下来。
3.Mr.Lock was so angry that he turned to "Consumer Protection"．
洛克先生如此恼怒，以致去消费者保护机构寻求帮助。
