1.alone adj. 独自的，单独的（没有旁人）adv．单独地，仅仅
let alone 不要去管；更不用说(not to trouble or bother; not to mention)
例句：1.Mike had a quarrel with his girlfriend and was feeling upset, so we'd better let him alone.
迈克和他的女朋友吵了一架，正心烦意乱，我们别去打扰他。
2.The price of the trip was too high, let alone the poor accommodation.
这次旅游的费用太高了，更不用说住宿条件也差。

2.exchange vt. 交换，兑换 n. 1．（电话的）交换台，交流，兑换2．交易所
in exchange 作为交换（回报）(in return)
例句：The settlers did introduce iron tools, muskets for hunting, domesticated animals, and political ways to the indians. In exchange, the settlers learned to build canoes for water transportation and snowshoes and toboggans for winter travelling.

如果你需要我的帮助，请告诉我。你记住你只要给我打个电话就可以了。
off the phone 不用电话
A:Dick, please don't tie up the phone. I need to make a call.
A:迪克，请不要总占着电话。我得打个电话。
B:I'll be off in a minute.
日：我很快就不用电话了。
