1.build vt. 建筑，建造，建立
build up 积累，加强；建起，激起(accumulate, intensify, become stronger；establish, stir up)
例句：At sea the wind can build up giant, powerful waves.
风可以在海面上掀起巨浪。

2.drive v. 1．驾驶，开车2．驱赶3．迫使，逼迫 n．l．驾驶，驱车旅行2．驱动（器）
drive sb. mad/cazy 使...发疯(sth. unpleasant that makes sb. crazy)
例句：I can't put up with the loud music. It is driving me mad.
我无法忍受这么吵闹的音乐，已经快使我发疯了。
drive someone out of one's mind 让某人发疯(参见同义习语drive somebody up the wall)
例句：The sound of all that traffic is driving me out of my mind．
交通的噪音真是让我发疯。

3.mad adj．1．发疯的2．恼火的3．着迷的
mad as a hornet 疯了
例句：When she heard the news，she was mad as a hornet．

passing grade 及格分数
例句：Although he isn't a diligent student, he still gets passing grades.

think of 考虑；想到(consider, take into account; think about)
1.I'm thinking of starting my own pottery business.

2.I often think of my primary school teacher.
我常常想起我的小学老师。
think of...as 看作，当作(regard as, view as)
例句：You may think of research as something you do in laboratories and libraries.
你可能会把研究当作在实验室和图书馆里干的事情。
