Reasons Accounting For My Choice As we all know, Kobe University is one of the top state-maintained universities in Japan. She is well-known for her aim at promoting humanistic, creative, international and professional education. Through surfing the Internet I realize that Professor Yoshioka mainly studies seismic theories, which is much related to my major Applied Geophysics. Pro. Yoshioka has done quantities of practical research work and published a great many valuable theses and writings. Professor’s scientific payoffs greatly help reduce the losses of geologic hazard. I extremely admire professor’s brilliant achievements in his professional field. If I am lucky enough to be able to accept professor’s guidance, I will certainly acquire a lot of useful and meaningful knowledge and skills. Moreover, I will surely improve myself from all sides. Particularly, during the communication with Pro. Yoshioka, I am greatly impressed and encouraged by professor’s kindness, amiableness, emthusiasm and patience.
