This is the first period of unit 7, the students must using nouns to identify objects in the playground and pronouncing the key words

correctly. So , I think the conversation is the most important. I introduce two cartoon friends to them, through their short dialogue to elicit new words and sentence pattern.

3. Using key patterns to initiate and maintain an interaction by providing information in response to factual questions. 一、Greetings and Warm-up

1. Ask the students to listen to the song ‘Let’s go to the garden”. Students enjoy and sing the song together.

2. Show a picture of the Garden,. Ask some questions about the garden.

T: What can you see? Ss: I can see a tree. T: What can you do? Ss: I can draw. 二、Presentation

1. Make a brief introduction about Tutu and Xiao Mei. All the students listen to the tape.

2. Show a slide to the students and teach the new word. All the students read after the teacher.

3. Show the key patterns to the students. “What can you see? I can see……”

4. Let the students chant with music as follows. Slide, slide, slide on the slide.
