China’s Foreign Ministry refuted a rumor that the country’s media watchdog had set restrictions on Korean dramas, movies and TV shows by requiring Chinese TV stations not to air advertisements casting pop stars from the Republic of Korea (ROK).
　　今日，中国外交部针对之前传出中国政府要求各家电视台不得播出由韩国明星代言的广告以及广电总局禁播韩剧、韩国电影、电视节目等言论进行公开回应。外交部表示：“并未听说过所谓的限韩令。”
　　"I have never heard about any restriction on the ROK, and the Chinese side is always positive to people-to-people and cultural exchanges with the country," Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said at a regular press conference on Monday.
　　外交部发言人耿爽在周一的例行记者会中表示：“首先，我没有听说所谓的‘限韩令’。第二，中方对中韩之间的人文交流一直持积极态度。”
　　But he indicated that exchanges should be based on public support.
　　但同时耿爽也提到，两国之间的人文交流应该建立在一定的民意基础之上。
　　When asked whether the rumored drama ban is linked to THAAD, the spokesman replied that the Chinese side’s steadfast opposition to the deployment of THAAD by the U.S. in the ROK is well known to all.
　　当被问到“限韩令”是否与韩国布置萨德导弹系统有关时，耿爽表示，中方坚决反对美国在韩国部署“萨德”反导系统，这一立场也是众所周知的。
　　"The Chinese public has voiced their dissatisfaction as well. Relevant parties must have taken note of that," he said.
　　耿爽还提到：“中国民众也对此表达了不满，相信有关方面应该注意到了这种情绪。”
