　　risk one’s life 冒着生命危险

　　take a risk of… =at a risk of… 冒着……的危险

　　risk sth.=risk losing sth. 冒着失去……的危险

　　risk doing sth. 冒着做……的危险

　　performance n. 表现，表演，工作情况

　　let us suppose that… 让我们假设……

　　Let us suppose that there is a forest fire.

　　2 The examiner looked at me sadly. 'Mr. Eames,' he said, in a mournful voice, 'you have just killed that child!'

　　He told them the news in a sad/excited voice.
