T:How are you toda? Ss:Fine,thank you.And you? T:I am fine,too. 2) Review:Go over the old words: Monday, Tuesday……Sunday. T:What day is it today? Ss:Today is Saturday. T:Today is my mother’s birthday.Do you know “When is your birthday?”(板书白板右边) Ss:一月,二月…(可用中文说出月份) T:那么用英语怎么表达月份呢?今天我们就一起来学习Unit 3. Step 2. Presentation(新课呈现) 1)板书课题: “Unit 3 My school calendar”并教读. 2)出示 calendar 单词讲解意思并教读,理解课题意思。 3)T:刚才谁的生日在一月? S:… 出示单词卡January并教读。依次出示单词卡February, March, April, May. June.并教读。 4).操练新单词:齐读每个单词3遍----分组站起来读3遍----男女生随机抽读----游戏:扔炸弹读。----再次齐读每个单词3遍。 5)提醒学生:表示月份的英文单词的首字母要大写;缩写都是单词的前三个字母+“.”(除May没有缩写); January, February对比记忆。 6)、T:在每一个月份都有假期,那同学们知道有哪些假期吗?依次出示:New Year’s Day,winter vacation,Tree Planting Day,Easter party,sports meet,singing contest,school trip,May Day,Mother’s Day,Children’s Day,Father’s Day这些节日的短语,边出示边释义并教读。 7)、将When is your birthday? It’s in….句子改换为When is Tree Planting Day?It’s in March.并 明确告知学生在月份前只能用介词in. 8)、练习句型。老师随机问,学生快速答(全体学生)----同桌练习问答----师问生单个答。 9)、Read and say.学生先自己做,老师再讲并订正答案。 Step 3.
